Jr. high play to be performed Nov. 15

The Albany Junior High theater class will present the comedy “Once Upon a Clothesline” by Aurand Harris for the public on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 6:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

The cast and crew will also present the play at the junior high One-Act Play Contest on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Stamford.

The play includes a total of 14 cast and crew members, with teacher Melanie Turner directing.

“The cast is working hard,” she said. “However, we are still making improvements every day – especially learning lines.”

The public is invited to attend the community performance next Tuesday evening. There will be no charge.

Making up the cast are First Bird – Hattie Braly, Second Bird/Junior Ant – Jacob Knight, Pinno – Braeten Street, Pinnette – Tatum Grady, Mrs. Spider – Zayne Lefevre, Mrs. Ant – Charlee Hefner, Mr. Cricket – Wesley Gleitz, Mr. Grasshopper – Braxton Henry, Dr. Beetle – Zane Green, First Little Grasshopper – Sam Vickers, Second Little Grasshopper – Britton Farmer, Third Little Grasshopper – Casey Estridge.

Crew members include Stage Manager – Hattie Braly, Lights – Rashelle Sanchez, Sound/Understudy – Colter Edgar.
