Items to be auctioned at FBC lunch

FBC will host a lunch and auction after church on Sunday, Sept. 27.

There will be a silent auction of items that were collected by local youth during Camp Jam in July. The items will be displayed and available for bidding while lunch is served in the fellowship hall.

All proceeds collected from the silent auction go to benefit First Baptist Church Aspermont.

FBC Aspermont’s church building, along with everything inside, was destroyed after it caught fire in June.

After the annual mission trip was cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns, FBC Albany’s mission this year has been to help Aspermont rebuild. 

The funds that had been raised to make the mission trip were donated to the Aspermont church several months ago.

FBC’s Sunday worship service begins at 10:45 a.m., with Sunday School prior to that at 9:30 a.m.
