Local and area high school students who were unable to attend the Worship Night at the Feed Store on Wednesday, Feb. 24, will have another opportunity to hear featured speaker Riley Israel.

The area Fellowship of Christian Athletes has teamed up with Power1 Ministries and will host a youth rally at the Breckenridge High School gym at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 1.

Growing up, Israel was very involved in all sports, playing baseball, football, and basketball, but baseball was his first love.

Israel graduated from high school in 1997 and received a baseball scholarship to Middle Georgia Junior College where he played for two years. He then played one year at Georgia Southwestern.

After a brief stint playing independent professional baseball with the Americus Arrows, the team folded, and Israel’s professional career ended.

Israel returned to college to finish his degree, and for the last 19 years, this dynamic communicator, who has a passion for the ministry and schools, has been encouraging people with a message of hope and inspiration with Power1 Ministries.

The March 1 event will be live-streamed at www.meridix.com/channel//liveid=breckenridgeisd1.
