Ticket are selling fast for the fifth annual CareFest, with only $50 general admission remaining for the one-day music extravaganza headlining Pat Green and Kevin Fowler on Saturday, Aug. 26.
The event will again be held at Happy Life, Happy Wife Weddings and Events Venue on FM 1084. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m.
“Ticket sales are better than ever before, with our numbers well ahead of this point in the past,” said Ragan Riley with ResourceCare that organizes the event. “We have sold out of canopy tickets and preferred tickets. We do have a few sponsorships still available that will include VIP preferred tickets.”
The deadline to purchase sponsorships is July 31 in order to have names printed on merchandise such as t-shirts.
Riley said that proceeds this year will be used to purchase a car for workers to use for client transfers to the doctor or even taking them to the grocery store.”
“If we raise enough money, we could possibly buy two cars,” Riley said. “We have used our personal vehicles to do transports in the past, but that is no longer allowed due to insurance concerns.”
This year’s acts and performance times include Della Rose – 5:00 p.m., Mike McClure – 6:00 p.m., Cooder Graw – 7:00 p.m., Cody Canada and the Departed – 8:00 p.m., Cory Morrow – 9:00 p.m., Kevin Fowler – 10:00 p.m., and Pat Green 11:00 p.m.
Tickets are now on sale at www.outhousetickets.com, with a link on the festival’s new website www.resourcecarefest.com.
A complete schedule of the lineup is also available on the website.
The artists will hold 30-minute meet and greets for the VIP ticket holders only. Photos will also be available.
