Flag football league finishes Wk. 3

The Albany NFL Flag Football League completed its third week of play this week with one team in each age group coming in undefeated.
The league has 101 players split among 12 teams in three age groups. Games are being played Mondays and Tuesdays at the Albany High School baseball field.
Results from Oct. 2-3, will be reported next week.
Through the first two weeks of play, the Bucs lead the K-1 division at 2-0 with the Chargers and Cardinals both 1-1 and the Colts at 0-2 with two one-point losses. All games for the youngest age group are played at 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays.
In the Second-Third Grade division, the Broncos are 2-0, followed by the Seahawks at 1-1 and both the Rams and Patriots at 0-1-1. Games are played at 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. on Mondays.
In the Fourth-Fifth Grade division, the Cowboys are 2-0 with the Saints and Giants both 1-1 and the Packers 0-2. The age group plays its games at 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. on Mondays.
On Saturday, Oct. 28, the league will hold its Super Bowl tournament. Semifinal games will match the first seed against the fourth seed and second seed against the third seed in each age group.
League organizer Steven Sutton said game times and location for the tournament are to be announced.

Kindergarten-First Grade – Bucs 28, Chargers 6; Cardinals 13, Colts 12
Second-Third Grade – Rams 28, Patriots 28 (tie); Broncos 37, Seahawks 13
Fourth-Sixth Grade) – Saints 42, Packers 14; Cowboys 28, Giants 12
WEEK 2 (Sept. 25-26)
Kindergarten-First Grade – Bucs 36, Cardinals 7; Chargers 7, Colts 6
Second-Third Grade – Broncos 37, Rams 6; Seahawks 20, Patriots 6
Fourth-Sixth Grade – Cowboys 28, Saints 12; Giants 12, Packers 0
