Filing underway for local elections

Filing opened last Wednesday, Jan. 17 for the local May 4 elections, with only one newcomer and one incumbent signing up as of Tuesday press deadline.

Reggy Spencer has filed for theAlbany ISD’s board of trustees, putting his name in for the Place 3 seat currently held by Bo Brown, who was appointed to the unexpired term in 2022 and then ran unopposed last spring for the remaining year.
