FFA exhibitors show at San Angelo

Albany FFA students had a busy week at the San Angelo Stock Show, with more than 40 swine and cattle exhibited last week.

In the Junior Gilt show, Emily Schedule with a Duroc and Maddie Stapp with a Yorkshire both placed fourthintheirclasses.Calie Turner was fifth with a Spot and Callan Edgar was seventh in LOPB.

MacKenzee Roysdon, Cooper Roysdon, Luke Smith, Lainey Vaughn, Ciera Turner, Kealey Rogers, Judson Rogers, Kloie Kelly, Slayten Kelly, and McCamey Vaughn also participated.

In Star Non-Pedigreed Gilts, Connor Smith was fifth and Paige Price was sixth, both with Crosses. Other participants were LaytonCehand,CalieTurner, Ciera Turner, McCamey Vaughn, Jamie Barrera, HadleyStapp,RyanTurner, and Maddie Stapp.

In Junior Star Purebred Gilts,CallanEdgarwassecond with a Chester, Schedule third with a Duroc, Maddie Stapp third with a Yorkshire, and Kealey Rogers 11th with a Hampshire. Others were MacKenzee Roysdon, Cooper Roysdon, Lainey Vaughn, Judson Rogers,KloieKelly,Slayten Kelly, Calie Turner, Mc-CameyVaughn,andLayton Cehand.

In the heifer show, Myleigh Leveridge earned two second places with a Shorthorn and a Chianina, Abigail Key also had a secondplace Chianina. Madailein Beardplacedseventhwitha SeniorHerefordandeighth with a Junior Hereford. Judson Rogers was 14th with a Shorthorn.

Inthesteershow,Jaxson Hoel placed ninth with his Heavyweight Black Cross.
