Kirk House will return to Albany Sunday, March 27 for a Praise & Worship Night at The Feed Store.

The program begins at 6:30 p.m.

“We had Kirk in November of last year and are really glad he was able to come back and join us,” Feed Store director Tisha Wilkins said. “We had a really good crowd last time and are hoping for just as many people this time.”

House has gained popularity as a performer in Abilene.

“He’s very popular as a performer,” Wilkins said, “but he does make time to do worship nights for youth groups. We’re excited to offer something for the youth.”

Wilkins said the program is open to the public with free admission.

“Kirk’s really good, and you don’t want to miss him. We will not turn anybody away,” she said. “We want everybody to come and enjoy some great music.”

Powder Puff Football

The Feed Store will hold its first Powder Puff football game at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 24 at Robert Nail Memorial Stadium.

The event is a project of the Senior Ambassador Student Council. Approval for the use of the stadium was granted by the school board at its meeting on Monday, March 21.

The game will pit the Pink, made up of senior and sophomore girls, against the
Purple, consisting of junior and freshman girls.

Wilkins said player signup will run through Sunday, April 3.

Further details of the event will be announced later.
