Feed Store board enlarged

Twenty-four students from Albany Junior/Senior High School, four from each grade level, have been selected to serve as student council and senior ambassadors for the Feed Store.

“In the past, The Feed Store has had one junior representative and one senior representative to assist the board with input and planning of activities,” Feed Store director Tisha Wilkins said. “This year, we have decided to increase those numbers to two boys and two girls from seventh through 12th grade. These students will help plan and promote Feed Store activities with the student body.”

Wilkins said she hopes to meet with the group once a month to brainstorm and get ideas.

Members of The Feed Store Student Council are:

Seventh grade – Wesley Gleitz, Casey Estridge, Zayne Lefevre, and Hattie Braly; eighth grade – Cache Clark, Woods Peterson, Caroline Chapman, and Mimi Ivy; freshmen – Donald McCullough, Branson Beal, Avery Everitt, and Kenzie Neve; sophomores – Tyler Chapman, Zane Waggoner, Cambree Clegg, and Robyn Trail; juniors – Cole Chapman, Keatin Russell, Gracie Price, and Briley Tabor; seniors – Brooks Neece, Ty Everitt, Ana Balliew, and Sarah Cotter.

“We are excited about getting events going again at The Feed Store and happy to have these students on board to help us encourage other students to come to events,” Wilkins said.

The first big event coming up is Running Man, scheduled for Oct. 30, Wilkins said.

“We are hoping to have another Worship Night in November and a Christmas event in December,” she said.
