FCA plans King’s Court
Students from Albany and several surrounding towns are invited to come to a Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) King’s Court at the Albany High School gym at 7:00 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, Jan. 23.
“This is the gym version of Fields of Faith, and I will be doing four of these around the Big Country,” said FCA Big Country East representative Paul Johnston. “We will not have any refreshments or anything for sale. This is a youth rally for students and their parents, and it is all about worship and helping students to buildup their faith.”
He emphasized that everyone is invited, not just students.
The free event will open with a praise band, followed by several students giving their personal testimonies.
“Pastor Paul Wright from Stamford will deliver a message,” said Johnston. “The whole thing should last between an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes.”
Students from Eula, Clyde, Moran, Woodson, Breckenridge, Cross Plains, and Coleman have all been invited to Albany for the King’s Court event.
A King’s Court was held in Eastland on Wednesday, Jan. 16, one will be held in Olney on Jan. 31, and the final one in Stamford on Feb. 6.
