The annual membership meeting of the Fort Griffin Fandangle Association is set for Tuesday, Oct. 10 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Instead of being at the Fandangle office in the Depot, the meeting will again be held at the Studebaker building (Musselman office), located at 324 South 2nd St. on the north side of the Courthouse Square, so there will be more room.

Discussion and a motion to hold the Fandangle in 2024 are expected, along with the filling of four seats on the board and the election of officers for the coming year.

Members of the board whose three-year terms are ending are Lanham Martin, along with Cody Leech, who resigned recently.

There are four available board positions, according to Association office manager Jamie Parsons.

Henry Musselman currently serves as the president of the board, with Branch Bartee as vice president, and Gaye Davis as treasurer. Megaen Birdwell serves as secretary.

Other members of the board whose terms are continuing include John Ayers, Shelly Bartee, Matt Bellah, Nandy Law Hallman, and David Waller, .

Board members with expiring terms can be re-elected by the membership, or new board members can be selected.

All members of the Fandangle Association are urged to attend the Oct. 10 meeting.
