Elementary book fair to be held virtually

After missing the opportunity last year due to COVID, the Parent Teacher Organization at Nancy Smith Elementary School will hold the traditional Scholastic Book Fair virtually this year.

The book fair will run from Monday, April 19 through Sunday, May 2.

NSES PTO members will send home flyers and post announcements on-line prior to the sale explaining how to order.

The book fair offers specially priced books and educational products, including new releases, award winning titles, children’s classics, and current best sellers.

In addition to the usual assortment of books, games, posters, bookmarks, and more will be available.

In past years, parents, grandparents, and other family members could eat lunch with their student and then take them shopping at the book fair.

This year, information will be provided to students to take home to family members on how the online book fair will be arranged. 

Any parent, family member, or community member can visit the online event and make purchases for their student.

All proceeds from the book fair will go to the PTO, and will be used to help the school directly with various needs and projects.
