Dove season opens Sunday

Dove numbers in Shackelford County appear good as another hunting season draws near

Dove season begins Sunday, Sept. 1 in the North Zone, which includes Shackelford County, and runs through Nov. 10. The season then resumes Dec. 20-Jan. 7.
