The link to the Christmas Wish List for Albany school teachers and staff is now available to be accessed on three different sites.

The Albany Academic Booster Club is once again inviting the community to “adopt” a member of the school staff by fulfilling one or more entries on the Christmas Wish List.

The links to the wish list hosted by SignUpGenious.com are available on the AJSH Academic Booster Club Facebook page, the Albany Jr/Sr High School Facebook page, and by going to each of the two campus web pages through the district website at www.albanyisd.net.

Anyone wanting to participate can scroll through the list of staff members and view what items they have selected.

The project is sponsored by the “Rise and Shine” committee of the AJSH Academic Booster Club.

The list has now been posted on a SignUpGenius.com account for the public to access.

Some staff members provided a link to the items they have chosen on Amazon or another national retail site, but that link will need to be copied and pasted into the donor’s browser to be active.

The staff was asked to list two or three items with a maximum value of $50 to be placed on the website.

There is also a direct link to the signup genius site as follows:  www.signupgenius.com/go/9040D4DADA629A31-teacherstaff1.

“This is a great opportunity to encourage and support teachers and staff members who educate our children,” committee member Audrey Peterson said.

Parents and community members are asked to deliver the items to the schools no later than noon on Wednesday, Dec. 15.

This is the third year that the committee has sponsored the program.

Teachers and staff at both campuses have been asked to participate, along other support staff.
