Deadlines near for fall show entries

Albany FFA adviser Chris Beard is in the process of helping local FFA and 4-H students complete entries for upcoming fall shows at the State Fair of Texas and the Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo.

The State Fair will run Friday, Sept. 27-Sunday, Oct. 20 at Fair Park in Dallas. The Heart of Texas Fair is Thursday-Sunday, Oct. 3-13 in Waco.

Entry deadline for those shows is Friday, Aug. 16.
