Concessions to benefit Project Grad

Albany’s Project Graduation will be operating the concession stand at two track meets in March as fundraising events.

Albany will host the Roaring Lion Relays on Thursday, March 23, and a junior high meet on Friday, March 24.

Project Graduation has provided Albany High School seniors with a safe alternative for celebrating graduation since 1988.

Started by the Albany Drug Task Force, the event is an alcohol-, drug- and chemical-free graduation party for each year’s senior class.

Project Graduation Organizer Amanda Tabor said the Valentine babysitting fundraiser was a success. That event provided an evening’s childcare with activities and games for children up to age 10.
