Community cleanup set Saturday

This Saturday, June 16, is the annual community clean-up day sponsored by the Albany Chamber of Commerce and the City of Albany, and organizers are hoping for a large turnout so Albany will look its best for the visitors expected to start arriving next week for Fandangle.

“We need as many volunteers as we can get,” said Chamber president Ramby Anderson. “One of the big projects is going to be getting the Depot cleaned out while preserving, to the best of our ability, the unique and historical items that have been stored there. We want to turn that area back into a functional space.”
