Pick-up dates for the April distribution of the commodity food program will be Thursday, April 13 and Friday, April 14.
The date was pushed back from the usual first full week schedule because of the Easter weekend.
Certified eligible families in Moran should pick up their monthly commodity food at the Moran City Hall between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 13.
Albany families who are eligible for the April food distribution program may pick up their food on Friday, April 14, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the rear door of the JP office.
Justice of the Peace James Breeden said families who have not yet completed and returned their applications for the 2023 program must turn in their paperwork in order to receive commodities.
“If people have not returned their applications prior to the distribution dates, we will not have food for them,” said Breeden.
Recipients who are unable to pick up their commodities in person can send a signed and dated note with someone to pick up the food for them.
