Chief appraiser resigns position

Clayton Snyder, who has served in the Shackelford County Appraisal District (SCAD) office for almost nine years, since August of 2015, submitted his resignation at a May 22 meeting of the SCAD board.

Snyder has accepted a position in Reeves County that board president Clint Bumguardnersaid“wastoo good for him to pass up.”
