Chamber gives $100 cards to winners of 10 drawings

The winners of 10 drawings for Albany Bucks were named by the Albany Chamber of Commerce on Monday afternoon, with each lucky shopper receiving a $100 gift certificate to a specific local retail store.

A total of $1,000 in Albany Bucks was given away.

The Valentine drawings were conducted during the monthly Chamber board meeting held at noon on Monday.

Winners included the following: Melinda Musselman – Nostalgia Antiques, Jennifer Marshall – Buds for You, Angela Cantrell – Sassifrass, Penny Prater – Southern Comfort, Melinda Musselman – Vintage Vanilla, Brittany Johnson – Erline’s, Diana Nail – Rustic Charm Candles, Susie Beard – Me and Mrs. Jones, Sue Ringener – Blanton-Caldwell Trading Co., and Melinda Musselman – Gannon & Grace Children’s Shop.

Shoppers at participating Albany stores since the first of February have received one entry form for each $10 spend. The forms were picked up Monday morning by Chamber manager Brandi Lehew and combined into one bin for the drawing.
