Online ticket sales for CareFest continue in advance of the one-day music festival.

The event, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 27 at Happy Wife Happy Life Wedding and Events Venue, is a fundraiser for ResourceCare outreach programs.

“One hundred percent of proceeds go back to our six communities of Albany, Baird, Breckenridge, Clyde, Cross Plains, and Merkel through our outreach programs,” ResourceCare’s Ragan Riley said.

Tickets are available online at www.outhousetickets.com. Remaining tickets are still available for preferred limited ($125) and general admission ($55). Parking is $20 and cooler passes are $20.

VIP passes and canopy space have already sold out.

“People can purchase tickets at outhousetickets.com, and tickets will also be available at the gate,” Riley said.

Riley said gates open at 3:00 p.m. with the first group – the Davis Brothers Band  – taking the stage at 4:00 p.m. The VIP lounge will open at 4:00 p.m. with food served at 5:00 p.m.

Headlining this year’s festival and closing out festival is the Read Southall Band out of Oklahoma, scheduled to take the main stage at 10:00 p.m.

Headlining stage two at 8:30 p.m. will be Giovannie and the Hired Guns of Mineral Wells.

Also performing on the main stage will be Slade Coulter at 5:00 p.m., Jacob Stelly at 6:00 p.m. and special guest Kevin Fowler of Amarillo at 7:00 p.m.

Local performers Jeff Martin and Matt Stapp will be performing acoustic sets in the VIP lounge starting at 5:00 p.m.
