Ticket prices for the upcoming CareFest on Aug. 26 will increase next Tuesday, Aug. 1 with only general admission tickets still available.

The fifth annual event will feature headliners Pat Green and Kevin Fowler, along with five other notable artists at the Happy Wife, Happy Life Weddings and Event venue just west of Albany.

“There are only general admission tickets left, which will be going up from $50 to $60 per ticket on Aug. 1,” said co-organizer Ragan Riley. “Prices will also go up for parking and cooler passes from $15 to $20.”

CareFest benefits programs sponsored by ResourceCare across six Big Country communities including Albany, Breckenridge, Baird, Clyde, Cross Plains, and Merkel.

“We do have a few sponsorships still available which come with VIP tickets, but that is the only way to get them at this point,” Riley said. “The preferred tickets and canopy tickets are all gone.”

Riley said there are a few $500 and $750 smaller sponsorships remaining, as well as $4,000, $15,000, and $20,000 major sponsorships.”

Anyone interested in helping sponsor the event is urged to contact Mindy Ary at mindyary@resourcecare.org, or call the ResourceCare office at 325-762-2447.

Sponsorship opportunities will end on July 31 in order to have names printed on publicity and merchandise.

Ticket prices will increase again at the gate on the day of the event to $70 for general admission and $25 each for parking and cooler passes.

Proceeds from the event this year will be used primarily to purchase a car for workers to use for client transfers to the doctor or even take them to the grocery store.

““We have used our personal vehicles to do transports in the past, but that is no longer allowed due to insurance concerns,” Riley said.

This year’s acts and performance times include Della Rose – 5:00 p.m., Mike McClure – 6:00 p.m., Cooder Graw – 7:00 p.m., Cody Canada and the Departed – 8:00 p.m., Cory Morrow – 9:00 p.m., Kevin Fowler – 10:00 p.m., and Pat Green 11:00 p.m.

Tickets are now on sale at www.outhousetickets.com, which has a link on the festival’s new website www.resourcecarefest.com.

A complete schedule of the lineup is also available on the website.

Proceeds help serve communities through programs such as Vittles by Vehicle, ASPIRE (an after school program located in 6 school districts), Day Camp (a two week camp for children ages 3 years to 6th grade; Day Camp employees, over 50 junior high and high school students), Senior Citizen Day, Christmas for Teens, Toys for Tots, Christmas for the Senior Citizens, and the Emergency Assistance Program that helps those that are struggling financially.
