After a successful first year, the Resource Care Community Health Center is once again holding CareFest, and tickets are currently available for purchase.

CareFest 2019 will be held at Happy Wife Happy Life, and gates for the event will open at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7. Music at the event will begin at 2:00 p.m. and end at 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Gates will close at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday.

ResourceCare got some extra help to make this year’s event happen.

“Happy Wife Happy Life and 95.1 The Wolf are both going to be helping us out with CareFest this year,” said organizer Ragan Riley.

Tickets for the event are on sale now and come in a variety of different packages.

“We have general admission tickets, preferred tickets, and VIP tickets,” said Riley. “There’s a limited number of preferred and VIP tickets available, and general admission tickets can also sell out.”

General admission tickets are $45.

Preferred tickets are $75 and ticket holders receive access to the VIP tent and private restrooms.

The $200 VIP tickets entitle ticketholders access to the festival lounge, which has a buffet, AC, cold drinks, and more, the VIP tent, and special parking.

All ticket prices will increase Sept. 1.

There will be two stages at the event, and musicians will play from 2:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m.

Musicians scheduled to play at CareFest include Parker McCollum, Jenna McDaniel, the Tejas Brothers, Kody West, Cody Canada and the Departed, Matt Stapp, Sierra Scott, Read Southall, and Jason Boland and the Stragglers.

The event is open to all who would like to attend.

“All ages are welcome,” said Riley.

Money raised by the event will be used locally in the six towns where ResourceCare is located, including Albany. The money helps to fund programs like Day Camp, Vittles by Vehicle, ASPIRE, and more.
