ResourceCare’s fundraising event CareFest 2021 is set to take the stage on Aug. 28 featuring nine well-known musicians and bands.

Organizers are anticipating that tickets will sell out soon and are encouraging local residents to purchase theirs quickly.

They also feel that the event will again bring a large number of visitors to town, benefitting Albany businesses.

CareFest 2021 Details

CareFest will take place at Happy Wife Happy Life Wedding and Event Venue just outside Albany.

Nine bands will perform on two stages with the starting performance beginning at 1:00 p.m.

The lineup for this year includes Roger Creager, Stoney Larue, Giovannie and the Hired Guns, Dylan Wheeler, Shea Abshier, Randy Brown, 360 Band, Cole Barnhill, and Jeff Martin.

“We are very excited about this year’s lineup,” said one of the event coordinators, Mindy Ary. “It is going to be an amazing show.”

Security will be in place during the entire event.

Tickets

Three different ticket options are available for purchase.

VIP tickets include front row stage access, access to the VIP tent, full access to the barn venue, meet and greet time with the bands, beverages provided by Budweiser, an air conditioned venue, and front row parking.

Preferred tickets will include front row access to the stage and access to the VIP tent.

General admission tickets are also available.

All tickets can be purchased through Outhouse Tickets at outhousetickets.com.

“This year we have increased parking to allow more tickets to be sold,” said Ary. “So far, tickets are selling out faster than previous years.”

Event Proceeds

CareFest is a fundraising event put on by ResourceCare with all proceeds going towards their outreach programs.

This year’s earnings will be directed specifically to transportation needs for ResourceCare patients.

“Transportation is the biggest barrier in rural areas,” explained Ary. “By being able to purchase one or two vehicles, this is a way to fill that gap and provide a service we have not been able to.”

Sponsorships

CareFest sponsors are still needed, with a deadline of July 31.

“We still need one main stage sponsor,” Ary said. “We appreciate all of our sponsors and are very grateful for the support.
