ResourceCare’s second annual CareFest sold out of Preferred tickets, Canopy tickets, and RV tickets last week, but music fans still have several options to be a part of the popular fundraising event that will take place at Happy Wife Happy Life just outside of Albany this Saturday, Sept. 7.

“We had a lot of people asking, so we added 20 more Preferred tickets,” said program director Mindy Ary. “Preferred tickets get you a front row seat and access to both the VIP tent and private restrooms.”

Preferred seating tickets are $100.

A limited number of VIP tickets were also still available as of press time on Tuesday. VIP tickets cost $250 and include a chance to meet and greet with the bands, covered seating, access the festival lounge, air conditioning, VIP tent, and dance floor, an all-day fajita buffet, ice cold beverages, and free parking.

Tickets can be purchased at outhousetickets.com.

Also available are general admission tickets for $60, parking at $20, and cooler passes for $20 each.

Gates to Carefest will open at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, with country singer-songwriter Jenna McDaniel scheduled to lead off the entertainment at 2:00 p.m., rain or shine.

Live music at the event will be provided by McDaniel (2:00 p.m.), Matt Stapp (3:00 p.m.), Tejas Brothers (4:00 p.m.), Sierra Scott (5:00 p.m.), Kody West (6:00 p.m.), Read Southall (7:00 p.m.), Cody Canada and the Departed (8:00 p.m.), Jason Boland and the Stragglers (9:30 p.m.), and Parker McCollum (11:00 p.m.).

Four or five food trucks will be serving options including American cuisine, two different types of barbecue, and gourmet shaved ice.

The Albany girls basketball team will be selling bottled water.

Members of the Albany Volunteer Fire Department will assist with parking and trash clean-up.

The lights will be turned out, and the gates will close at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.

All proceeds from the event go to ResourceCare’s outreach programs in Albany, Baird, Clyde, Breckenridge, Cross Plains, and Merkel.
