One of the special highlights of the senior season came during the baccalaureate service on Sunday, May 18. Though delayed about 20 minutes due to stormy weather, the ceremony was held at First Baptist Church in Moran, with retired teacher David Bridges delivering the keynote message. Graduates received Bibles presented by the church’s pastor and Moran principal Jo Hise.
Seniors and kindergartners participated in a joint graduation walk on May 21, a school tradition that brings the youngest and oldest students together to reflect on their milestones. The week also featured awards ceremonies for both elementary and secondary students, wrapping up a school year filled with academic and extracurricular achievements.
