New officers for the Albany Athletic Booster Club are gearing up for another school year with a kickoff meeting scheduled for later this month.

The Booster Club is in the process of beginning ad sales for football programs for the 2023 season.

“We’ve been hashing that out this past week,” president Cari Heatly said. “We haven’t set a definite date yet, but we’re going to start ad sales around July 15.”

Heatly was among officers elected at the Booster Club’s June 21 meeting to serve through spring 2025. Other officers are vice presidents Ginny Ivy, Kristie Smith, and Alisa Parrott, treasurer Kalico Leech, and secretary Stephanie Gleitz.

Heatly said advertisements will again be offered in four sizes – business card ($30), quarter page ($60), half page ($120), and full page ($225).

“We’ll go through last year’s program and call people to see if they want to keep their ads,” she said.

Further information is available on the Booster Club’s website (www.albany athleticboosterclub.com) and Facebook pages (Albany Athletic Booster Club and Albany Athletic Booster Spirit Shop). There is also an email: albany lionboosters@gmail.com. Payments can be made by credit card or apps such as Venmo, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

The kickoff meeting will be 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 24, at The Feed Store.
