Blood drive dates changed

Blood drive dates in Albany are being changed back to Thursdays, according to Lauren Spindler, Marketing and Business Development Manager at Hendrick Regional Blood Center in Abilene, with the next one set a couple of weeks later than originally planned.

The first two dates of the 2023 series were moved to Fridays, but as of June, will go back to Thursdays from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m.

“I am needing to make a few adjustment to the Albany schedule for the rest of the year,” Spindler said. “I’m so sorry we have to make changes to this calendar year.”

Spindler apologized for any inconvenience.

On the original 2023 schedule, a blood drive was set up for Friday, June 9. That has been changed to Thursday, June 22.

Other dates for 2023 are Aug. 17, Oct 12, and Dec. 7 – all Thursdays.
