Baseball, softball registration continues

Registration is ongoing for Albany Little League.

Registration forms are available at Nancy Smith Elementary School and Albany Junior/Senior High. Online registration is available at albanytxll.com.

Albany Little League is open to boys and girls to play at the T-ball, Coach Pitch, Minor, Major, Intermediate and Junior levels.

Registration fees are $50 for T-ball and Coach Pitch, $75 for Major and Minor, and $85 for Intermediate and Junior.

Albany Softball Assoc.

Albany Softball Association is continuing to accept registration for the upcoming season this week.

Registration forms are available at NSES.

The league offers competition in 8U, 10U, and 12U age groups. Registration fee is $65 per girl, but discounts are offered for families with multiple players.

The league will begin play in March following the conclusion of the Little Dribblers season. The softball season will extend into early May, but finish before the end of the school year. Local teams are expected to play opponents from Cisco, Eastland, and Breckenridge as they did last year.

Board member Matt Stapp said the ASA is seeking umpires and sponsors for the season.
