Aztec musical planned Nov. 19

The Aztec Theater will again host a special evening of local singing talent accompanied by Sandy Abel as a fundraiser for the facility on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Ticket will be sold at the door for $15, payable with cash or check only. Credit cards will not be accepted.

The program is called “Seasons of Love,” featuring love songs of all genres.

“There will all kinds of songs,” Abel said. “It will not be just romantic love. There be some about good love and others about love gone wrong.”

She added that currently 14 local musicians are rehearsing, with several technical crew members assisting. Abel and several other band members will accompany the singers.

A list of performers and band members, along with more information, will be included next week.

Last year’s show was entitled “Songs of the Singer Song Writers,” which was well attended.

“This group has become a family over the years,” Abel said. “They are a musical family who really enjoy reaching out to the community and sharing their talents.”

All proceeds will benefit the Aztec Theater.
