Athletes to play in 4 FCA games

Seven Albany seniors and one from Moran will participate in the Big Country Fellowship of Christian Athletes All-Star Games coming up in June.

On Friday, June 10, Albany’s Ana Balliew and Cooper Fairchild will play for the North teams in the softball and baseball games, respectively. The softball game will be played at Angelo State University’s Mayer Stadium with baseball at Foster Field.

On Saturday, June 11, Albany’s Sarah Cotter and Moran’s Johnnie Hise will play for the North in the volleyball match at Abilene Wylie High School. Moran coach Jo Hise will serve on the North coaching staff.

Also on Saturday, June 11, Albany’s Brooks Neece, Jaheim Newton, and Bryce Asher will play in the Myrle Greathouse All-Star Football Classic at Abilene’s Shotwell Stadium. Asher will play on the Blue team, with Newton and Neece on the Red team.

Albany’s Savannah Hobbs will serve as a cheerleader for the Abilene events.

All eight will report to their respective host cities for practice on Wednesday, June 8.
