The Albany Chamber of Commerce will conduct its annual business meeting on Feb. 4 with two board positions up for election at the Beehive.

“Ramby Anderson and Clayton Snyder’s terms are up, but I feel like they will be nominated again,” Chamber manager Mary Beth Jones said. “The nominating committee will get together and see who they want to nominate.”

The event, traditionally held the first Friday in February, will include the regular luncheon at noon, followed by the annual meeting at 1:00 p.m. The agenda includes reviewing the finance report and electing directors and officers.

“We’re getting our Albany Stars party set up for sometime this spring, and we’ll vote on hosting another big party in 2023,” Jones said.

A nominating committee will be appointed to fill any empty spots on the board. The committee’s recommendations are submitted and voted on by all of the Chamber members in attendance at the Feb. 4 meeting.

Current officers are Anderson, who serves as president, along with vice president Megaen Birdwell, treasurer Lisa Barton, and secretary Mary Beth Jones.

Other Chamber directors currently serving on the board are Robert Dacus, Jana Kitchens, Susan Montgomery, Chris Beard, Jonathan Scott, Tracy Sullivan, Jacob Cleveland, and Robin Balliew.

Chamber memberships can be purchased at a variety of levels including $50 for seniors, $60 for families, $125 for small businesses, $150 for medium size businesses, $175 for businesses with four to five employees, and $300 for large businesses and corporations.
