Albany PTO meeting set

All parents, teachers, and administrators of Albany students are being asked to attend an important session of the Albany PTO on Monday, Nov. 7, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the elementary cafeteria.

The meeting has been set during the evening hours so that hopefully more people will be able to attend, according to local PTO officer Ragan Riley.

“We will discuss changes within the PTO and elect new officers,” said Riley. “We encourage all teachers and parents to be in attendance, and we welcome your feedback, comments, questions, and concerns regarding the restructuring of the organization and our vision moving forward.”

She emphasized that everyone’s input is needed.

“You all play an imperative part in this organization, and with your help, we feel that we can benefit both teachers and our students in a positive manner moving forward,” Riley said.
