The Albany Masonic Lodge Scholarship Golf Tournament already has a full field, but is taking names for a waiting list.

The four-person scramble is scheduled to tee off at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 at Albany Golf Course.

All proceeds benefit the Albany Masonic Lodge Wisdom Foundation, which awards college scholarships to Albany High School graduates each year.

“Last year, we awarded $5,000 in scholarships, which is about where we’ve been running,” Masonic Lodge member Randall Palmore said. “We appreciate everybody’s support. We especially appreciate the members of Albany Golf Club. Their cooperation makes this possible.”

Lunch will be provided starting at 11:30 a.m. before participants tee off.

While the 12-team field has been filled, Palmore said hole sponsorships are available for $500 each. A long-drive contest will be held on the ninth hole with closest-to-the-pin on No. 6.

For information, contact Palmore at 325-762-5166 or John Tate at 325-514-0367.
