Albany golf club adopts new logo

The Albany Golf Club (AGC) announced the release of a new logo this week, as members prepare to celebrate their 100th anniversary in 2025.

The club, which was established in 1925, decided to update the branding in order to increase visibility and attract new players.

“The Albany Golf Club has been a part of this community since 1925, and we wanted to make sure that our brand accurately reflected who we are and what we stand for as we look towards our centennial year,” said club president Ronnie Anderson. “We are confident that this new logo will help us achieve those goals.”

The logo was designed by local graphic design company Western Trail Design. The logo embodies the lively spirit and passion shared by Albany Golf Club’s golfers, while also honoring its traditional values.

This week, the club will launch a fundraising campaign to raise $150,000. The goal is to upgrade cart paths and other areas around the course to enhance the golfing experience.

AGC is also launching a brand new website and Facebook page this week. This will help local and area golfers keep up to date on events and playing conditions at the course throughout the year.

“We want our members and guests alike to feel like they are part of something special when they come here,” said Anderson. “That’s why it is so important for us to make these upgrades now so that everyone can enjoy them for years to come.”
