Albany Golf Club will have new additions to its fleet of golf carts ready for the annual Labor Day Golf Tournament.

The club announced the acquisition of six EZGO carts. The gasoline-powered carts sport the club logo on the front panel.

“These carts mark an important step towards our ongoing commitment to offering the best possible amenities for our golfing community,” club member David Waller wrote in a post on the club’s website. “Our choice to partner with EZGO reflects our dedication to maintaining a contemporary and enjoyable golfing atmosphere. EZGO has a solid reputation for crafting reliable and functional golf carts, known for their smooth performance and comfortable design – all of which align perfectly with our values of creating a positive golfing experience.”

Many local and area golfers will see the carts for the first time at the club’s Labor Day Golf Tournament Sept. 2-3.

At press time, there were still spots available for the two-person scramble.

Entry fee is $200 per team and includes a meal on Saturday evening.

Carts can be rented.
