Tyler Chapman won a place on the district All-Star Cast.

Stage manager Cort Peterson was named as part of the Best Technical Crew.

Brooklyn Abbate and Sidney Russell were both named to the honorable mention All-Star Cast.

Albany’s contest play was Jerome McDonough’s adaptation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.”

“The Albany Junior High One-Act Play students did very well on Thursday,” said director Melanie Turner. “While we didn’t place, I am extremely proud of the hard work these students put into our play, and I can’t wait to see them on stage again in high school.”

Other cast members included Braylyn Abbate, Adam Hill, Lute Wheeler, Zane Waggoner, Ayden Balliew, Cole Read, and Cason Fairchild, Ayana Molina, Ashtyn Liming, Kaedyn Nowell, Robyn Trail, Kiana Roberson, and Houston Heatly.

Alternates were Cooper Edgar, Robert Diaz, Braylyn Abbate, and Ashlyn Holson.

Crew members were Lanxton Viertel, Maci Hatchett, Peterson, Callan Edgar and Kolt Koemel.

Director’s helpers included Jaci Chapman, Cambree Clegg, Robin Lucas, Emma Shack, and Bryson Herring.

Stamford won the district contest, followed by Haskell in second place and Hawley in third.
