AISD students to get Feb. 19 holiday

Albany ISD students will observe a holiday on Monday, Feb. 19 for Presidents Day. Staff members will still report for work on Monday forastaffdevelopmentday.

Staff at each campus will meet at 8:30 a.m. Training will include a review of safety protocols, an update of security plans, and STAAR training for administrating the exams.

Spring break is scheduled for the week of March 11-15, with regular dismissal times on Friday, March 8. Classes will resume on Monday, March 18 at the normal times.

So far, the two days designated as “bad weather days” on March 29 and April 1 are still scheduled.

The holidays are in observance of Good Friday and the Monday following Easter.
