The Albany High School Class of 2022 senior Bible presentation, a long-running project of First Baptist Church of Albany, will be included as part of the Baccalaureate service at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at the Albany High School Auditorium.

The event, hosted by FBC for decades, was combined with Baccalaureate two years ago.

First Baptist youth minister Eduardo San Lucas will present the Bibles to the seniors during the service.

San Lucas said the Bible presentation is an important part of the journey upon which graduating seniors are about to embark.

“We all go through hard times and hit rough patches in life,” he said. “Jesus is the only one we can cling on to, the one who will always be faithful to us regardless of the situation and circumstances we are going through.”

FBC members will also host the traditional Coke float party in the school cafeteria after the service.

All seniors are encouraged to attend the Baccalaureate service and Bible presentation. Friends and family members are also welcome.
