4 inducted into MHS honor society

Moran High School inducted four new members into its chapter of the National Honor Society in a ceremony held Tuesday, April 4 at the Moran Events Center.

New members are seniors Alyssa Allred and Samantha Hinkle, junior Tyler Hail, and sophomore Ellis Hise.

The chapter was started last spring with seven students, including two members of this year’s junior class.

In starting the chapter, Moran superintendent Dr. John Denson said the aim was to better prepare students for college as well as provide opportunities to participate in community service projects, such as blood drives and assisting with the Toys for Tots campaign.
