4-Hers busy at stock shows

Shackelford County 4-H members have been busy hauling their livestock projects to major stock shows recently with five in attendance at the San Antonio Stock Show.

Connor Smith and Luke Smith exhibited barrows in Wave 1 of the barrow show.

Gage Burton, Truitt Burton, and Cameron Burton were entered in the commercial steer contest, which finished Tuesday night.

Other Events

A scheduled sewing clinic for Saturday, Feb. 17 was cancelled because most of those expected to attend had scheduling conflicts.

Archery meetings continue on Mondays and Thursdays, while Shotgun and Pistol are both meeting once a week.
