2024-25 Bulldog cheerleaders named

The Lee’s Legion Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution presented Moran ISD with a number of books for students.

Lee’s Legion member Linda Morris delivered several titles aimed at first through third grade readers.

Cheerleaders selected Moran will have eight middle school and eight middle school cheerleaders for the 2024-25 school year after tryouts last week.

Cheering on the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs next year will be: High school – Kielar Carr, Maekayla Kersey, Maylea Matthews, Autum Russell, Montana Russell, KacendaThompkins,Chelsea Thurman, and Rayni Vinson (captain); Junior high – Caliann Carroll, Briley Chadwick, Emmie Hise, Mackenzie Marquez, Liliana Rodriguez, KelseyRust,DemiSebree, and Alexis Whitehill.

Big Week

Moran will hold Dr. Seuss Week Monday-Thursday, March4-7,withSpring Flingon Wednesday,March 6 at the football field.

SpringFling will begin at 5:30 p.m. m. with a hamburger meal. The stands will open at 6:00 p.m.
