McCoy brings chart-topping hits to Aztec

Legendary country artist Neal McCoy will perform live in Albany this Saturday, April 5, headlining the latest installment of the Albany Live concert series. Doors at the Aztec Theater will open at 6:00 p.m. and the show will  begin at 7:00 p.m.

The show marks the fourth concert of the season presented by Albany Live. Previous concerts have included performances by Cory Morrow, Gary P. Nunn, and the Bellamy Brothers.

This weekend’s headliner, Neal McCoy, brings a long and accomplished career to the Aztec stage. Since releasing his first album in the early 1990s, McCoy has produced fifteen studio albums and sent 34 singles to country radio. He achieved mainstream success in 1993 with the back-to-back No. 1 hits “No Doubt About It” and “Wink,” both from his platinum-certified album No Doubt About It.

His popularity continued through the late 1990s, with two more platinum albums, a gold-certified album, and a string of Top Ten singles. In 2005, he released the fan-favorite “Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On,” which climbed to No. 10 on the charts.

Despite a career that spans more than 30 years, McCoy maintains a full tour schedule and is widely regarded for his dynamic stage presence. “No two shows are the same,” he often says—a promise local audiences can expect to witness firsthand.

Tickets are still available at this time. Albany Live is also offering a special deal for local residents on show night. Anyone who resides in Shackelford County can present a valid ID at the door to receive a general admission ticket for $50. This local discount is only available at the door and cannot be applied to online purchases. Payment at the door must be made by cash, check or Venmo—credit cards will not be accepted.

The Icehouse will host a cash bar for all ticket holders, and patrons are reminded to bring cash for drink purchases.

For those wishing to secure their spot in advance, tickets may be purchased online at albanylive.org.
