Holiday recipes needed for The Albany News special section

It’s time to break out the recipe cards and family secrets — The Albany News is cooking up this year’s Holiday Recipe section and we need your help to make it delicious. From cherished family desserts passed down through generations to new dishes you’ve perfected for the holiday table, every recipe tells a story. We want to celebrate those stories and the cooks behind them.

This year’s recipes will appear in the regular newspaper instead of in a separate section.

Please include the recipe name, a complete ingredient list with exact measurements, clear steps, oven temperatures and times if needed, the number of servings, and your name for credit.

Whether your specialty is a festive side dish, a sweet holiday treat, or something totally unique, we want to feature the flavors Albany loves most.

Bring a copy of your favorite recipe by The Albany News office, email it to news@thealbanynews.net, or text it to 325-238-6128. Photos are welcome too — because we all eat with our eyes first!

Don’t wait too long — the deadline to submit is Friday, Nov. 14.
