Cauble competes for showmanship honors

Albany’s Tara Cauble was selected to compete for showmanship honors over the weekend at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

Cauble, an eighth grader, exhibited her wether goat during the goat show, which was held Friday-Sunday, Jan. 26-28. While she did not place with her animal, Cauble was called back for the showmanship judging.

Albany FFA students had 16 animal projects in this week’s barrow and steer shows. Albany students entered competition Wednesday, Jan. 31.

Showing barrows were Jade Bean, Jayden Clark, Callan Edgar, Colter Edgar, Cooper Edgar, Tatum Grady, Slayton Parsons, Paige Price, Emily Schedule, Creed Spencer, Crew Spencer, and Ryan Turner.

Students entered in the steer competition were Hattie Braly, Jaxson Hoel, KoltonKoemel,andKenzie Neve.
