The Albany Fall Ball team plays teams from all over the Abilene area and so far this season has been great, according to organizer Anthony Ceder.

“We have won four games, tied one, and lost one,” Ceder said. “We have beaten teams from Jim Ned, Wylie, and Dixie. We lost to a team from Southern and tied a team from Wylie.”

Playing for Albany are Jakobi Word, Graham Ceder, Aiden Vickers, Lyle Wheeler, Clay Chapman, Gatlin Wills, Bennett Neece, Pecos Duke, Cash Edgar and Colter Edgar.

Coaches for the team are Ceder, Gary Vickers, Tony Wheeler, and Chris Edgar.

“We have a tournament next week that starts on Tuesday,” said Ceder. “We will play every other day if we keep winning, with games on Tuesday and Thursday, and then the finals on Saturday.”

Albany will play Wylie at ACU next Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 6:00 p.m. in the first game of the upcoming week-long tournament.
