The youth flag football Super Bowl games have been rescheduled, and will take place tomorrow (Friday) and Monday, Nov. 16 and 19.

Inclement weather earlier this week postponed the first two sets of games, and the matches set for tonight were delayed because they conflicted with the Albany Lions playoff game in San Angelo this evening.

Second and Third

The second and third grade flag football teams Super Bowl will be Friday, Nov. 16, according to league organizer Anthony Ceder.

The semifinals will start at 5:00 p.m., at Nail stadium, with games on both sides of the field. The winners will face each other in the finals at 6:00 p.m.

Both of the other age divisions will have their Super Bowl games on Monday, Nov. 19.

Kindergarten-First

Kindergarten and first graders will compete in semifinals at Robert Nail Stadium on Monday, Nov. 19, at 5:00 p.m., and the winning teams will play each other in the finals at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Fourth and Fifth

The fourth and fifth graders will take to the turf of Nail Stadium for their semifinal matches at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 19.

The finals for the fourth and fifth grade winning teams will also take place at Nail Stadium at 7:00 p.m. that night.

“There will be semifinal games going on simultaneously at both ends of the field,” said Ceder. “The winners from each of those games will then take on each other to determine the champion in that age division.”
