Feed Store youth minister Kathryn Hamilton has invited local high school girls to a “first ever Feed Store High School Girls Retreat.”

The event will take place from Friday, March 20 through Sunday, March 22 and will be held at Justin and Tamara Trail’s missile base, located just outside of Albany off the Baird highway.

According to Hamilton, the retreat will allow girls to take a pause from the craze of school, sports, and UIL to have fun and focus their eyes on Jesus.

Local women will be speaking and other young ladies will be helping lead the retreat.

“It will be a weekend where we dive into who God created us to be, where we find our worth, and how we can each live out our purpose as a daughter of Christ,” said Hamilton. “We have up to 25 spots available, so please get your registration forms in as soon as possible. It’s a weekend you won’t want to miss.”

The sign up packets are available at the Feed Store. Registration is $25.

“The event will be overnight for two nights, and although we have some beds available, we are asking everyone to bring sleeping bags and pillows,” said Hamilton. “The list of what items they may need is on the registration form.”
