Project Graduation supporters have planned several fundraisers that will take place during February.

Order forms for Valentine’s Day Oreo Truffles are available at both school campuses.

“The deadline for pre-orders for the truffles is Wednesday, Feb. 5,” said class parent Jenny Scott. “The seniors will help prepare them, and the truffles will be delivered to the high school and to Nancy Smith Elementary School on Valentine’s Day.”

The truffles cost $3 for a half dozen and $6 for a full dozen. They are available in milk chocolate, white chocolate, or mixed.

Late orders will not be accepted.

Lion Silent Auction

A large outdoor cast aluminum sculpture of a lion is being auctioned off by Project Graduation 2020.

“Stephen and Shirley Wylie donated the piece on behalf of Rustic Charm,” said class parent Tammy Clark. “It would look great anywhere!”

The retail value of the lion is $400. It will remain on display at the high school gym throughout the silent auction. Bids be accepted any time the gym is open.

Other Fundraisers

The senior class will also be holding a live auction for a corn hole set at one of the upcoming home varsity basketball games.

In addition, one or more bake sales will take place during the remaining home basketball games.

“We will have various activities at all three of the last home games,” said Clark.

Money raised by Project Graduation is used to fund the traditional after-graduation alcohol-free and drug-free party for members of the senior class.
