Moran jr. high, elementary students to compete at UIL

Moran elementary and junior high students are preparing for University Interscholastic League district competitions this month.

The elementary students will compete in Strawn on Thursday, Dec. 6.

The junior high meet will be in Gordon on Thursday, Dec. 13.

High School Sports

The Lady Bulldogs lost 12-72 in Munday on Nov. 19.

The Lady Bulldogs and the Bulldogs both traveled to Gustine on Tuesday, Nov. 27 for games starting at 6:00 p.m., and will be in Woodson for tournaments on Nov. 29 to Dec. 1.

The Bulldogs will travel to Highland on Tuesday, Dec. 4 for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off.

The varsity girls have a bye on Tuesday, Dec. 4.

Both high school teams are entered in the Rochelle tournament on Dec. 6-8.

JH Basketball

The junior high Bulldog teams were off over Thanksgiving and results of their games with Ranger on Monday, Nov. 26 were not known at press time.

The middle school ’Dawgs will host Baird to two games starting at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3.
